Hundreds of NYPD cops turn their back on Comrade de Blasio

New York City -- Hundreds of NYPD officers symbolically did to Mayor Bill de Blasio what he did to them: they turned their backs on him.

This was at the Bronx funeral for Miosotis Familia, an NYPD officer and mother of three who was assassinated as she sat in a command vehicle filling out paperwork.

The original 'back-turning' of anti-cop de Blasio came at the funeral procession for another assassinated officer: Wenjian Liu back in 2015.

"Scores of officers who assembled outside the World Changers Church in The Bronx for assassinated police officer Miosotis Familia on Tuesday protested the mayor by showing the building their backs as speakers broadcast Hizzoner's eulogy from inside," The New York Post reported. "The officers chatted with one another or swiped through their phones during the mayoral snub."

De Blasio (his friends call him 'Comrade') left New York on taxpayer money to deliver a speech outside the G20 summit in Germany. This came the day after Officer Familia was executed simply for wearing the uniform.

Sergeants Benevolent Association president Ed Mullins responded to de Blasio's obvious dereliction of duty as mayor said, "Mr. Mayor, you didn't have to travel to Germany for a protest--all you had to do is speak in front of the men and women of the NYPD."

Officer Familia, a 12-year veteran was targeted and executed early last Wednesday morning. The shooter, a parolee with a history of spouting anti-police threats on social media shot her in the head through the closed window.

Scumbuckler and de Blasio spokesman Austin Finan told the Post "A couple dozen people showed up to partake in a bogus controversy ginned up by the media and those looking to politicize Detective Familia's death. That's unfortunate."

No, Finan--it wasn't a 'couple dozen people,' it was a couple hundred cops. But you probably weren't there, and if you were, you had to have failed 6th grade math.

And the controversy isn't 'bogus.' You support Black Lives Matter even after they marched across the Brooklyn Bridge chanting "Pigs in a blanket. Fry 'em like bacon."

And it wasn't bogus when you spoke about your bi-racial son saying what a  New York Daily News article referred to as "moronic" comments.

"What parents have done for decades who have children of color, especially young men of color, is train them to be very careful when they have . . . an encounter with a police officer," the Marxist said on ABC's "This Week."

It was Mullins who pointed out that "He has a security detail of New York City police officers assigned to protect his family. And yet he's making statements that his son shouldn't feel safe with New York City cops."

De Blasio needs to be defeated in the next mayoral election this November, but if he isn't, New York City still has what it deserves.
