Hillary puts Moscow first

In 2010, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton headed a program designed to help Moscow develop a "Russian Silicon Valley." Like the famous Hillary reset button, the program may have drawn some of our biggest tech companies into "industrial espionage." It also boosted Russia's military and spying operations, according to Peter Schweizer's Government Accountability Institute, which stated in their report: "There are serious national security questions that have been raised."

Clinton pitched the program as a partnership between our two governments and companies. Unfortunately for the United States, Hillary is a naive as a frog riding the back of a scorpion.

Some of the companies Clinton solicited were: Google, Boeing, GE, Microsoft and Cisco. All of these companies are, coincidentally, big Clinton Foundation donors. What are the chances of that?

Hillary got the companies to invest over a billion dollars in the Skolkovo tech park near Moscow. The goals, our naive secretary of state said was to "break down barriers with Russia," and create "more free flow of people and information" between the two countries, and ultimately strengthen Russia.

Why? Why would we want to strengthen Russia, a country that would do anything to dominate us, and has already made our so-called president look like the kid in the locker room who was given an atomic wedgie by a guy named Vladimir?

"We want to help because we think that it's in everyone's interest to do so," Clinton said, without explaining how that would be in anyone's interest but Russia's.

In 2014 the FBI issued an "extraordinary warning" to our companies doing business with the Skolkovo Foundation that "Skolkovo could draw them unwittingly into industrial espionage." The warning mentioned that Skolkovo was an integral part of Dmitry Medvedev's plan to modernize the Russian military.

The FBI said that Skolkovo "may be a means for the Russians to access the USA's sensitive or classified research, development facilities and dual-use technologies with military and commercial operations."

Giving America's secrets away to our global enemies doesn't seem to be a big concern of Hillary Clinton. But at least the FBI has finally gotten over it now that Comey has chosen not to recommend indictment.
