Genocide or guys out for a walk, Mr. Obama?

Will Obama call the systematic killing of Christians by the Islamic State genocide? Just because the Islamic "holy" book, the Koran, calls for the killing of infidels (unless they convert or pay a war tax called jizzyah) does not necessarily make it genocide in Obama's mind.

The Knights of Columbus,(K of C), an influential Catholic organization is pressuring the President to make that call as they make public "a comprehensive and encyclopedic" accounting of "the genocidal atrocities committed agains Christians in Iraq, Syria and the surrounding area by ISIS and its affiliates," stated the K of C vice president for communications, Andrew Waither.

The K of C report will include witness testimony, data collected in Iraq and Syria, Syrian church officials' reports, and public documents by the European Parliament.

In other words, Christians are being slaughtered by Islamic terrorist groups simply because they are Christians, and data is being presented to Obama to prove it. But the big question is, will Obama agree and call it what it is, or will he continue to protect the religion he obviously loves so well?

Last month, Secretary of State John Kerry said he would decide "soon" whether to declare that ISIS is guilty of genocide. But Kerry apparently operates on undernourished brain cells and has yet to figure out how soon "soon" should be. (Shades of Bill Clinton's "is.") Supposedly, the date to declare the status of Christian genocide has been set for March 17th--this Thursday.

Simply because the House Committee on Foreign Affairs unanimously approved a resolution stating that ISIS is guilty of war crimes against humanity and genocide, is no reason to believe that this administration has the testicular fortitude to agree with that or say hurtful things about the "Jay Vee Team."

After all, Obama wouldn't want to piss off CAIR and other Muslim Brotherhood-linked organizations that have "helped build this great nation."

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Obama will actually do the right thing and declare that Christian genocide is being committed by ISIS. Hopefully he won't add, 'But after all, Christians seem to be forgetting the Crusades. It's all because of the Christians and the Crusades."
