The Obamas Eat Like It Ain't Their Money

The Obamas dined out on New Years Day eve in Oahu where they are spending the last remnants of their hardly-earned vacation. They ate at Vintage Cave, an exclusive restaurant that charges  as much as $500,000 for membership but as little as $50,000 for lower-class membership.
He's so macho and sensitive at the same time

The website of this fine establishment boasts of a "cave-like environment," which ought to make Michelle feel at home, and the place has a Waikiki, granite interior "quarried in the mountains of India" by vestal virgin slaves of the mufti of Norway or something.

The meal itself is a real bargain, priced as low as $500 a head for a regular meal, and as high as a kite if you like. Lucky for them, it doesn't cost them a cent.

The family had spent the day snorkeling at Hanauma Bay, and it was closed to the public (like the golf course where Obama putted around, keeping a young couple from carrying out their intended wedding plans to get married at hole 16).

Later the Obamas partook in shaved ice in Kailua as Barack generously wished his fellow searched customers a "Happy New Year." The clan then headed back to their vacation home where Michelle ate a bag of Miss Vickey Chips, 12 Oreos, a small order of French fries, a knish, and baba ganoush with crackers.

The good news is, the vacation wraps up this weekend and President Obama will be back on the job.

The bad news is, the vacation wraps up this weekend and our so-called president will be back on the job.
