The Enemy of Our Enemy is Still Our Enemy

Barack Hussein Obama was on the ballot in yesterday's elections across the nation. The people have spoken, and just like Barry said back when he won his first term, "elections have consequences." Hopefully for us, they will.

It seems that everything this president does is the wrong way to do it. Case in point: Iran and Afghanistan.

In a flailing effort to jump start Afghanistan's horrible economy, Obama has turned to Iran for help. This is akin to asking the IRS to audit John Boehner's tax returns. And Obama has asked this of Iran in spite of the strict sanctions he placed on American companies doing business with that Shi'ite country. The Pentagon has gone ahead and established a special task force to seek out business relations with Iran.

Would it really surprise us if Obama just told Iran to go ahead with their nuclear "energy" project? Of course, he would do it in the spirit of good intentions, but Iran's intentions, like Putin's, are always self-serving. How's that "when I win a second term, I can be more flexible," working out for you, Mr. President?

Obama is as naive as the frog who carried the scorpion across the pond. His extending the olive branch toward Iran illustrates this.

One cannot expect a Shi'ite country to sing Kumbayah with a Sunni country--that isn't the way Islam is built. Islam is really two religions, both warring, but each one having distinctly different theological beliefs. Thus, each one thinks the other is heretic and evil, spreading lies about Allah, as if they met him up front and personal.

Iran likes Afghanistan the same way they like the United States: they would enjoy nuking us and sending us to hell. In fact, by doing just that, they can get a free pass to Paradise, which is chock full o' virgins just waiting to get their groove on with them.

Seriously, getting in bed with Iran may just be Obama's biggest mistake, and he's made some doozies. We are still and always will be, the Great Satan and Israel the Little Satan. And while the latter concept may thrill those American and European Jew-hating liberals who are too stupid to realize that Islam wants them just as dead as the Jews, we must not be so foolish as to believe we can trust Iran.

Let's hope now that the GOP has taken the Senate and gained a ton of gubernatorial positions and House seats that they will hold this administration's feet to the fire, especially regarding national security.
