President Obama claims that the Islamic State (or, as he calls them, ISIL) is not Islamic and is not a state. Translated this means that ISIS (as I call them) is Islamic and is a state. These orthodox Islamic jihadists have established a territory in Iraq and Syria which they call a caliphate, and they govern this area under strict Islamic rule. Since when has Obama told the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help him Allah?
Secularists don't do well in caliphates because it's difficult to find work after you've been beheaded. Plain and simple, beheading is Islamic and is prescribed in the Koran (as I call their so-called 'holy book' as opposed to the Qu'ran, as they call it) for infidels who refuse to convert or pay a heavy tax (called the jizya) which goes to help fund their jihad. Check it out:
"And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing . . . but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful" ( Koran 2:191-193).
Yes, Allah is forgiving and merciful. But if you're a Muslim and you refuse to join in on the fun of beheading, crucifying and shooting people who don't believe in the way you do, the Koran has the answer:
"Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward," (4:95).
You probably know what the reward is from Allah--72 virgins, rivers of wine, and little sweet boys with blue skin to do things that normally would get you publicly hung in Iran.
But women don't have it so lucky in Islam.
Ayatollah Khomeini's granddaughter, Zahra Eshraghi, declared that under Islamic law, (sharia) "a woman is there to fill her husband's stomach and raise children." She left out the sex slave part, but you get the picture.
That's just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. Muhammad said that women are intellectually inferior to men as well as in their faith. Hell, he said, is filled with women as he declared one day as he was passing a group of women on his way to prayer. "O women! Give alms, as I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of hell-fire were you (women)."
When they questioned Islam's first terrorist about that, he replied: "You curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you."
When the women still weren't satisfied with his bloviating he used the Koran to make his point: "Is not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?" (2:282).
The women knew enough at that point not to push it--you don't want to piss off Muhammad.
So moderate Muslims who want a caliphate believe in all of the above. Their methods of achieving a caliphate may not include beheading, but even that is moot because when Muslims maintain a geographic majority in any land, they often use violence to "keep the peace." The best way to think of moderates is to see them as unarmed jihadists. Under the right circumstances, you will be "subdued."
Arm yourself with knowledge because the future depends on it. Read the Koran, particularly the Saudi English translation.
