Not Being Earnest

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest basically said today that just because Hamas fires rockets at Israeli civilian targets from Gaza schools, mosques and clinics, does not give Israel the right to fire back because they might kill Palestinian civilians. Earnest is saying that Israel should take what Hamas dishes out to them just like they took it when Hitler did the dishing.
His anal retentive look

The United States under Obama is quick to criticize Israel about killing innocent civilians when we have done the same in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Pakistan, and Israel didn't criticize us for it.

I've noticed how outside criticism has been working against Israel so far. It seems that Israel gets blamed on these unfortunate events while nobody actually talks about Hamas and their intentional attempts at killing civilians--men, women and children. Nobody speaks about the Hamas charter that clearly states their desire to kill all the Jews in the Middle East.

I'm not saying that it's okay for Israel to kill civilians, but come on, what are they supposed to do when Hamas fires at them from civilian areas? Why isn't the Palestinian Authority doing anything about that little piece of information?

While Bernadette Meehan, the National Security Council Spokesperson condemned the shelling of a UNRWA school in Gaza, she did not blame Israel. Earnest did stating that the U.S. has no reason to doubt U.N. reports that Israel was behind the shelling.

But doubt undoubtedly does exist. These U.N. schools have been hoarding rockets and other weapons to fight Israel. The nations united under the U.N. have a majority anti-Zionist agenda fueled by Islamic anti-Semitism.

And how innocent are those civilians who allow tunnels to be dug in their home so that Hamas can slither into Israel and kill Jews? Who has spoken up in Gaza about these tunnels?

Huge caches of weapons were found in no less than 3 UNRWA schools in the conflict thus far, and Israel had taken fire from these locations. What would you do if you were a military Israeli leader?

Ms. Meehan said "We also condemn those responsible for hiding weapons in United Nations facilities in Gaza. All of these actions, and similar ones earlier in the conflict, are inconsistent with the UN's neutrality."

Seems like Ms. Meehan has more testicular fortitude than Josh Earnest.
