Obama's UN Yadda Yadda

President Obama spoke at the United Nations General Assembly today. Part of his speech was focused on Iran and our relationship with that country. Part of the speech was focused on Israel and how Obama believes they should give the Palestinians the 1967 territorial borders.  He also spoke about the terrorist attack in Nairobi, Kenya, and how the world is a safer place than it was 5 years ago (when George W. Bush was president). Of course, he didn't put the two ideas together in the same sentence as I just did, but that's understandable. If Obama ever decides to follow a new career after his term of office is over, he ought to consider stand-up comedy.

But it's obvious that Obama wasn't trying to be funny when he made the claim of a better, safer, Obama-world. He meant it. He also plans to have John Swiftboat Kerry meet with Iran's new president to discuss peace and love. This to a president of a country that has an annual "Hate America" holiday, and Rouhani recently said on MMRI television that he is telling the USA one thing, and plans to do another. It doesn't get more ironical than that.

Wait, more irony: as this is being written, news just came in about another shooting in Obama's home city of Chicago where a 3 year old boy was among one of the victims. Sounds like gun control is only controlling the gun ownership of law biding citizens. But the world is a safer place than it was 5 years ago. Then again, now that he has an entourage of Secret Service bodyguards, I guess it is a safer place for Obama.

Back to Kenya: the terrorists are still hold out in the mall. The FBI are at this moment, in Kenya to assist the government in this tenuous situation. There are at least 62 dead, but the death toll is expected to go higher--the world is a safer place, however, so stay calm.

Obama had the audacity to mention the Benghazi 4. We are still waiting to hear more about that, Mr. POTUS.
